The lamp body pressings contemporary to Austin Healey production are different to later Lucas products and to the reproduction lamps available now. The finish and chromework of the earlier lamps is far superior to the later items.
The lamps are marked inside with L691/L692, whereas later lamps are also marked L794/L795, and do not carry a date stamp.
