The plastic used for the toggles of these earlier Lucas switches is of a better quality than that of modern reproductions. Held up to a bright light this plastic is semi-transparent with a brown tint, whereas the modern repros that I have seen are a dark grey non-transparent plastic with a very crude moulding flash line.
